Ran across this recent snapshot in the "lengthened whisker tracks" area of my roundhouse. Lionel U28C. Those little "PRR" keystones were easy to cover up. Love the "Brunswick Green" (too light, actually, I'd say). So, now, it's a What-If M&O Boat.
I'm used to the O-gauge couplers, but from this close-up position - yikes!

Ugh! I'd love to have a Western Maryland one too. Probably that over the C&O one.
Resurrected this from an old negative I found in a box from the olden days. I had to trick my scanner into thinking it was 35mm film instead of the old 126 film. Sorry for the poor quality, but it outside of the front end of a U28B, it also shows NYC run through power on the CB&Q at the edge of Berwyn, IL.

Yes the WM has a stunning look. I had always liked the BL's soo ugly they are pretty! But none of my favored roads had any. I voiced that statement once and Mark Boyce came to the rescue. He told me of the MTH EMD demo version. Checked the MTH website and they had a very few left at a very low price (379) to a certain membership. Wanted one that could be used with any of a favorites as a demo. Contacted local deal who got one on order. When it arrived found it priced at the special price. With my customary discount bought it for less than $345.00 brand new.
Will always remember that Mark is responsible for me be able to find this jewel. Thank-you again Mark!

Well worn Maine Central GP38 #252 at NYS&W Little Ferry, NJ yard Jan.87'. MEC was run through power from the Guilford system on stack trains.
MY PHOTOS
Into the vault from when I first got back into model trains. Here are some front end shots of the $40 EZ Toys G Scale Rio Grande trainset that my sons and I we were running on the plastic track through the back porch and yard back with the battery remote in 2011.
The train bug hit me hard and has stuck in multiple scale. My sons... not so much
1-I need to get into G Scale (the real ones, not plastic toys)
2-When, oh when, will battery operated locomotives come to O Gauge? That's a topic for another day
Amtrak Acela, Genesis with UP special train approaching Grand Central Terminal on The SOUTH FORK RAILROAD
Paul Romano’s Maine Central GP38 pics are cool. I like the odd bell mounting.

Ted. Thanks again. Usually all our backdrops are built by Photoshop. It's take a lot time but then you can get what you really like it.
