Good afternoon, this is Pennsylvania K4 3858 getting her tender filled at the water spout on a cold winter afternoon.
Second photo is the same engine waiting for an approach signal to move out onto the main.
The signal man at the bottom of the Interlock tower is holding up train orders for a approaching fast freight.
Have a great weekend, stay safe !!!!!

Happy F.E.F folks...geysergazer - neat picture of the Boeing parts train. Interesting side note...in talking with some friends of mine who work with Boeing in Seattle they told me that one of the biggest jobs they had after the fuselages arrived at the plant was fixing all the BULLET HOLES in them !!
My picture for F.E.F is a Marx Western Pacific E-7 A--A pulling out of the depot ready to hot shot up the main with the express to the Big City!
Happy F.E.F everyone- have a healthy and happy weekend

Today here are some ends of the front kind of my Pennsy fleet. I want to give credit to FSJR switch tender Willy Joe ( Leanin Willy ) Jones as he is proud to have played a significant part in the staging of this pubic relations photo creation! Let's here it for Willy Joe!! My Pennsy Power fleet. Left side front to rear: WbB scale 44 tonner, MTH Aerotrian, Williams scale GG1 #4875, MTH Premier P5a modified, K line scale A5 steam switcher. On right side is WbB scale PA 2.
Three modes of power ... steam, electric, and diesel electric. Pennsy had them all ... as did some other roads too ... such as B&O ( who was first to use electric locos. ) .... Milwaukee , New Haven to name a few.

Happy F.E.F folks...I don't get too many "night" shots but I thought this one came out kind of neat. French Hornby OVA locomotive and a short consist of 3 coaches makes a late evening departure heading for the city.
Have a good weekend everyone!
