Does anyone know if the frosty the snowman engine (6-81284) will run with the lionchief universal remote? or do i need the frosty remote...
i put it on the track and all i get is the idle puff sound but i cant connect the remote and i don't get that chirp sound that i have on a couple other lionchief engines...

You first have to drink frosty the cold one.
Then yes, many of the earlier RF only Lionchief- they do not support bluetooth and that protocol does not always play well with the universal remote.

Also worth asking, have you both read the older incompatible list- and in the same page- updated your universal remote to the latest firmware to improve the number of engines it might be compatible with?
