So I'm a little slow on the takeup and continue to find all the little hidden features in CAB2 control, LCS Sensor Track function and Legacy Locomotives. I FINALLY figured out how to "refuel" my engines today (filling water is a lot more obvious) using Legacy Locomotives and the IRV2 sensor sleds. Works as expected when controlling a Locomotive as an ENG.
My question is why the same function does not appear on the CAB2 touch screen when operating the locomotive as a TRAIN? Now, my initial guess to leave it off would be that its possibly part of a lash-up. Well, that doesn't hold up when you consider that the lead engine is the only item reported on the default screen. You can go to TRAIN-LINK and get to the second engine separately. Each locomotive has an opportunity to report FUEL and WATER level individually when progressing through TRAIN-LINK. So...
Why is there no report of FUEL and WATER when a locomotive crosses a Sensor Track when controlled as a TRAIN?
Lionel (Dave), any reason this can't be fixed in a future CAB2 firmware upgrade?
