"HONGZ" stands for HO scale, N scale, G scale, and Z scale.

Post your non-O scale stuff here!

Fulgurex: St Gotthard 1 gauge steam engine.  Only 45 hand made, all brass and their first Gauge 1 engine with smoke ( has sound and lights, etc.). Blueish Grey and black livery.  Think its the 1910 version, all Era 1

this is a four cylinder version, two working underneath the engine12652

According to where I purchased this, it will be there LAST Gauge 1 one engine produced by Fulgurex.   Will concentrate on HO and N.  Made to commemorate the completion of the  new Swiss St. Gotthard tunnel, the longest under ground tunnel in the world (35 miles+ long).

Received it a few day ago, arrived in great condition.

What is interesting is that I bought a Fulgurex Gauge 1 engine at a large scale train show in York about 4 years ago.  I came in a high quality wood box.

This engine is considerably more expensive (not a boast) and it arrived in a cardboard box?

Congrats. A beautiful locomotive. I have seen it at the Gauge 1 Sinsheim meet last year. It was presented as the model made to celebrate 70 years of Fulgurex. You might know that Fulgurex has announced a set of matching carriages http://fulgurex.ch/modelle/1/gb-wagen/gb-wagen.html

By the way, I myself would never use the smoke of such a locomotive for fear of spoiling the finish.

Regards

Fred
