FUTURE LAYOUT USING SCARM

Hi, your attachments aren't working.  At least not for me.

I just noticed it, Thanks.  I am trying to figure out how to add it.

If you right click on the link and save to your computer, then click on the file on your computer, it will open as intended.

Just tried it... works (and looks good too!)

Attachments work fine.  User must right click on attachment and "save link as" the file to own computer.  Then, user opens SCARM and can access your file.  As I see it, double loop with inside loop being an "over-under" with about 30 degree crossing, right?

Thanks, I am trying to figure out adding it so everyone can see it.  It is a double main line, the inner does cross over its self.  I can not add the elevation, I may need to ask the author on that one.  I would like to connect both lines too.   I am going to add another staging line on the outer purple line to the right.  The inner area will be filled in with Nebraska Sand hills, or Mountains and some sidings or a Millhouse turntable on the lower Left side.  This is a fun program, I just need to mess around with it more to understand it.  Thanks for the comments and hope to have some upgrades later.  Nick

Always nice to "Export" to jpg and post a photo along with the SCARM file. The Export command has 2 options, bmp and jpg, but both create rather large files, so I used FastStone Image Viewer to resize. 

DoubleDaz, How did you do that, anyway Thank You very much.  You can see where the inner Purple line on the left is not connected and I need to rework that area.  I plan on doing the same for the right side too.  Thanks again for posting that.  Nick 

Try this. I'll let you fix the tunnels, etc. One thing that helps me is not to use the long track sections until the end. It makes making adjustments easier for me.

Sorry, I thought I posted a reply, but it didn't take for some reason. Anyway, there is an EXPORT command in the File menu. It will save an image as a bmp or jpg. Both are rather sizeable for this one; 84Mb and 1.6Mb, so I resized it to only 53kb using FastStone Imaged Viewer.

Thanks for the help DoubleDAZ, I did figure out the jpeg.  I will work on this later tonight.

The height of the track above base level is entered by first clicking on VIEW then selecting Show Track Heights.  Then by clicking on a section of track at either end you can then increase or decrease the height (in inches, for example) by using the roller on your mouse.  Br careful to select just one segment of track. Otherwise the height of other attached segments will be affected. I like to start at the bridge or overpass and then work down to base level.
