"HONGZ" stands for HO scale, N scale, G scale, and Z scale.

Post your non-O scale stuff here!

I have had a Aristo Craft Train Engineer Remote Control for controlling the backyard layout.  The layout has sat un-touch for a couple of years.  Not thinking about it the batteries were left in the Transmitter and leaked and corroded the board in the transmitter.  I tried to clean it the best I could but only a few of the buttons now work.  What are other guys using to control their layouts?  I have about an 80' loop of track and control is by track power.

I have a loop about 12' x 20'.  I use conventional control.  To power the loop I use an MTH Z-4000 with an inline bridge rectifier and a toggle switch for directional control.  This is only on one side of the transformer to give me D/C control of G scale trains.  The other side is original A/C for running 3 rail  O scale trains.  That's how I do it.
