Garden Railroads

I have been trying to germinate some foliage for the GR. Ended up finding a couple of types locally. Irish moss and Creeping thyme. I got some trees in last spring.

Found a few from construction.

I got the new plants into the ground yesterday. Hopefully they will thrive and fill in. After a decent rain I’ll topcoat the soil again to fill in any low spots.

Real nice 👌  have been thinking about doing the G myself can you share where you shop for trains? I would like to find someone out here in Eastern Washington that has a garden set up. Is there anyone here that fits that bill please contact.

You need to do some serious research before committing. It’s very expensive and if you don’t retro your engines to remote and battery the track is a burden to keep clean.
