Golden Gate Depot has just announced this Broadway Limited Set as it ran in 1938. It will be an aluminum six car set with extra sleepers available according to Scott Mann. These passenger cars will really look great with a Pennsy S1 . A post war set will also be available. Check the GGD site--the cars are stunning.

Would anyone know what the proper consist would be for one of these trains? I'm curious as to what add-on cars beyond the 6-car set would be appropriate given cost not being an issue, and whether they would be available?

The GGD Heavtweight sleepers would be appropriate. When the Fleet of Moderism started operating the PRR was usually short of sleeper cars on these all pullman trans. And the were supplimented with Heavyweight sleeper Cars.
