Thanks for the clarification Rich. I was just taking a guess.

I should have noted the time signature on the phone ringing but like I said it isn't really a big deal. If no one else notes the time I will look it up tomorrow morning. Could it be perhaps a land line somewhere else in the house? It kind of sounds far away.

The phone rings at 15:03 approximately.

Phil, I opened up this sequence in Final Cut and listened very carefully from about 14:30 through 16:00. I don't hear a cell phone ring there.

Can you describe the specific scene where this happens? It's possible that your time readout doesn't match the time code in my editing time line in Final Cut.

Rich, the phone ringing is at a point where there is no talking. First you see a NYCS steam freight train pass by going right to left (on the TV screen) and then a quick shot of the Gallino yard office. Next a Bessemer switcher running light enters the yard going left to right. Next there is a scene that lasts 10 seconds and you see a set of Bessemer ABBA F units (which are really nice by the way) leave the yard going right to left. It is during this 10 seconds that the phone rings and like I said it sounds far away and it only rings twice. It may not be a cell phone. It could possibly be a land line in another room. I hope this helps.
