Glen Snyder display shelves - questions

I talked with him about custom lengths and he said that they had bad experiences with them getting bent (very, very small distortions) in transporting even with the most careful packaging and bracing.  The other issue was longer lengths had to be shipped freight.

I expect that you could get any length you wanted if you picked them up.  They are produced in 30' (?) sections.

Hey,...are you guys aware of another FOUR FOOT train shelve system, sold by Dick Wachtman (sp) over at the York Orange Hall?  His shelves have MANY grooves/ribs  impressed on it so most any scale train will nicely sit on the shelf. I have both Glenn's and Dicks' product....I like them both.
