The window in my box car needs to be glued back in place. Should I use Testor glue for plastics?

Canopy glue might be the best as it's made to not show on glass windows or canopies. Can get at any hobby shop.

Art is right, I used to try to use plastic glue, CA glue, etc. Canopy glue works best. I use Testors 3515 Clear Parts Cement and Window Maker. It dries perfectly clear and you can even make windows if you're really good.
I agree. The liquid styrene is apt to run and craze the plastic. However, if you don't want to spring for a tube or bottle of something you'll only need once, ordinary white glue works fine. I've used it many times and haven't had a failure yet. Just lay the car on its side or tape the window tight for a couple hours after gluing, as the white glue doesn't grab immediately.
as the white glue doesn't grab immediately.
Neither does the canopy glue, white glue may actually grab quicker. I have/used both and have no preference though, depends on if I'm in a hurry or not.
I like "Gator's Grip", but, I have also had good results from Testor's "Clear Parts Cement and Window Maker". The Testors may be a better option since it has its own applicator and is probably easier to find.
