Hot dog! Got our tickets for the May 25th 765 Horseshoe Curve trip from Lewistown, PA! Now I just have to be patient for three months.
I have a feeling this is going to be like waiting for Christmas to come when I was seven.

And you won't be disappointed when you meet Rich.
Bringing my youngest son and my sister. I figure we owe her a ride behind the 765 since I talked her into going to the Lewistown station last August when it was coming east to Harrisburg for the employee specials. She ran by the station to get a photo for me and ended up getting her car "parked in" for about three hours. My brother in law had a late supper that evening too.

Okay Curt, you might have to swing over to Ohio and pick me up so I can take pictures for you and Max. Sounds like an absolute fun time.

York in April and 765 roundng Horseshoe Curve in May! This is a very good year.
Any lists of hotels/motels in the area?
We're looking forward to it Rick! Heck, you ought to get yourself a ticket and drive over to Lewistown. It's only about 8 hours +/- from Cincinnati.
We're not flying back to Atlanta until Monday evening, so I plan to do some trackside railfanning for the Sunday trip.
