Yes, I built a set of those years ago and sold them on the forum last year. I found using hot glue a very good way to assembly the buildings. Also paint all the parts before assembly. Good luck.

Used to use that set and the add-on gazebo & firehouse every year under the tree.  They were perfect for that use, but be sure to seal the parts before painting, inside and out, so as to keep humidity from warping them, especially if they will ever be stored in a non-controlled environment.  Seal the cardstock trim, too.
