Help With Lubricating K-line Model B6 K-3480-0002

K-line manuals are not very detailed. I am looking to grease the locomotive but not sure how to proceed.

As you can see there is a phillips head screw and a nearby hole on the undercarriage with the word grease. Anyone know do I remove screw and insert grease or use the hole near the screw head. Removing the screw does not do anything but leave an access hole. Thanks for taking a moment to read this. Any help is welcome. John
