I am currently designing a small layout and am using an old version of RR-Track.
For what I need it works great. The issue I am having is how do I add an elevated area of the layout. I have elevated my outer loop to 4.75 inches and want some "ground" under part of it.
In the scenery section there is a spot for 3 layer mountain but it doesnt do what I want.
Any help would be great. See picture below. The red outline is where I want to elevate the scenery.

Sorry I don't have a quick "do this then that" response to the question, but did you check out the tutorials with the Software?
I upgraded quite a while ago, but I recall going through tutorials and they were pretty good. Unless maybe I bought some special package that included those, maybe you don't have the tutorials?
I recall the software making what looked like nice berms under the track, as well as allowing for cut outs in the berms if the track was an over/under scenario (like an elevated figure 8).

I have the latest version. I could not find a way to do what you want. That being said, I just elevate to desired level and make a mental note about how I imagine it should look.

I think that I might just do that.
Figured it out. I added a polygon and changed the Z access. 
Access to this requires an OGR Forum Supporting Membership
