According to Lionel website this unit (6-38954 NKP ES44 Heritage) has been shipped. I am waiting for a phone call to pick up mine. If you get yours post a picture!!!!

The Example Model I saw of ES44ac Conrail unit at Trainfest in Milwaukee was not correct. It was missing Oscillating marker lights on the rear. The catalog lists this as a feature and the real NS Heritage units have the rear Oscillating marker lights. Since Lionel left this off of the SD70ACe units and sample model of ES44ac, my guess will be it will be missing on the production run on these units.
Yes we need pictures of the Es44AC's. I have the pennsy and the southern on order, can't wait to get them.
I ordered these, Norfolk southern ES44AC #8114 and #1982. credit card was charged today. should have them end of next week.
I have the MTH NKP ES44...love it!!

Have the ES44AC southern been released yet?
According to the Lionel website shipping schedule it only shows the 6-38954 NKP shipped. Seems that all other ES44AC units have been removed. Not sure why but maybe a mistake.

Supposedly, the way Lionel works their shipping schedule, when a item ships out to dealers, it is removed from the list. However, sometimes, they leave it on there and put shipped by it and other times they don't take it off at all. It is confusing!
All the NS Heritage ES44ac's units are being shipped out to dealers right now. Charlie from Nassau Hobby Center, posted that in this thread: https://ogrforum.com/t...ly=23533630246971278

I just got mine from Charles Ro. Here are a few photos. The LV has the correct painted nose.

woody I see you posted on another thread, the thread of the March 29, 2012 actual release of the real NS-NKP unit, that you received your Lionel model.
Hopefully you will come back to your original thread and post pictures of the Lionel model.
