These pictures were taken today at the  Hi-Rail Modular Train club in Griffith Indiana.  This club was gracious enough to accept 25% (3 members) of the former Indepedent Hi-Railers Midwest Division.  I feel very fortinate to one of those three.

IMHO, this layout is one of the best kept secrets in the Midwest.  Yes they have been around for about 13 years.  For the first ten they hustled and did shows Shopping Malls and various other venues.  Three years ago they settled into a perminent home and sold their trailers.

Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Chugman, without mentioning any names you are very familiar with at least one of the other former IHMD members that joined this club.  He worked with you and your son on wiring your layout.

Ring a bell?

And... You are right.  They are a great bunch of guys.

Jim - That's great so now I know 2 of the 3 that have joined.  I wish you guys all the best.  Your talents will add to the already impressive ones already in the group.  I have purchased a number of weathered cars form a couple of the members and they are some of my favorites.  The only negative for me is how far it is to Griffin from where I live in the far western suburbs.
