Below is my HO layout in my office at work.
I've just expanded it to 22'! I am using the Bachmann E-Z Track point-to-point reversing track. The train is all Bachmann with my favorite Cass Shay, #5, lettered W. V. P. & P. Co. for the West Virginia Pulp and Paper Company. In the first picture you will see my 1970's era Cass Scenic Railroad poster which I recently bought on the bay. I had one just like it on my Gettysburg College dorm room. To the right of it is a picture I took of #5 on my first trip to Cass in September of 1972!
The other pictures show the rest of the track. I used 1 x 3 boards as the subroadbed. The last picture is a closeup of the train.
I have already inspired another worker here to add his own layout.
My manager only cautioned me not to launch any Estes rockets in my office.
Since the train moves very slowly, which is appropriate for Shays, the track seems very long and the effect is extremely relaxing. Many coworkers come by to relax.
