All of my 'visible' track is Super O, but in areas where you can't see, I used GarGraves mated to the Super O. Reason is that when I was building the layout many years ago, Super O straights were not as available to me and the smoother center rail in an inconvenient place made sense to me.
When I get it laid out, there will be 460 feet gargraves phantom rail flex, 120 feet of fastrack switches and connectors in the 3 yards working on.
The upper shelf with be 180 feet ( loops of 90 feet circling loft)
280 feet of lower dual loops, spurs, siding and passing loops with one elevated section.
Pics will be posted when I like what wind up with.
I am building a 20X40X20 L shaped layout, 2/3 Gargraves and 1/3 Atlas. Ross swithes and a few Atlas.
