Scott Mann of 3RD rail says that the first run of EMD SD9 diesel-electric locomotives have sold out.
He would be able to make a second run. One of the railroads missed was the Soo Line.

The Soo Line had only one SD9 diesel-electric locomotive.
The Soo Line SD9 was originally painted in the Maroon and Gold scheme in 1954
Some time after 1962 the SOO SD9 was repainted in the White & Red with black SOO paint scheme.
This is a 1966 photos taken in Wisconsin. Notice how clean 2381 is at the time.
How many people would be able to purchase one if 3RD produced the SOO SD9?
Which one would match your time period?
The red and white 1960's era scheme is the one I would order.
