These were taken by a non-modeler friend at the State Capitol in Salem in 1988, which makes them 30 years old this year.

I'm sorry Mike, I have no idea. These pictures were taken by a friend who knew of my interest in trains, but would not have thought to ask that question to anyone there at the time. I suspect some sort of Holiday layout is still put up at the Capital for the season, but I'm not sure. Glad you liked them.
