I don't quite understand what you're after just looking at the photos. You've got a raised section along the right side with ramps up to it, so you've obvious;y figured out how to change track elevations. Maybe if you posted the SCARM file that contains the part you say is getting messed up, I could download it and figure out what you're trying to do.

I attached the file. I want to see the upper deck that the track will be attached to. There will also be other buildings and such up there. Also the coal tipple which you see will be a dropped down section of the base so that the track that goes through the tipple is flush on the base layer.

Hope I've conveyed my ideas properly.

Regards, and thanks

I'm not sure I understand, but here's something to maybe get you started. I' m not sure what the yellow rectangle represents, but I elevated things so it could be seen in 3D. I then added the pink rectangle where the ramp is at its highest point because I'm not sure what your 2nd level is going to look like and the buildings are in the way for anything larger.

The problem with SCARM is that figures above 0" elevation cover the track and make visibility difficult. So, I moved them to Layer 1 where they can be turned off while you are working on the track, etc. The yellow is 1" thick, the base track is at 1.01", the top of the ramp is 8.01" and the pink is 0.5" thick at elevation 7.5".

We'll be heading back to Phoenix from Cocoa Beach tomorrow, so I'll have limited time to check in until we get home on Monday or Tuesday.

Ok, then just ignore that part of it. The main thing to look at is the Properties for the pink rectangle. Right-click and select Properties. You'll see how to use the vertical position and height fields. It works the same for polygons. If I get time later, I'll fiddle with that yellow and the baseboard to show the walk way better. Right now, I have to pack the car so we can leave first thing in the morning.
