"then listen to and implement every suggestion on this Forum"
a sure path to madness.
The title of this thread was supposed to be a set up for a funny video centered around a model train hobbyist who won the lottery. The thread took on an unintended life of its own. Sometimes threads on the OGR forum do that.
1. Larger Train Room. Train Barn!
2. ATSF GP-38 1:1 Scale for the 'garden railroad'
3. Charlton Heston's basement.
Charlton Heston's dead.

Then he surely won't mind.
Me,
Buy a building the size of a Costco warehouse and find out who would want to form an O Scale model railroad club.
Give the reminder to my wife and tell not to bother me about spending on stuff anymore.
I'd buy me a new pair of socks...
Rusty
Why?
Why not?
Rusty
Cause usually you get those as gifts at Christmas time....
I thought that was underwear?
Jerry
I am going to quit working thats for sure.
This is such a funny conversation. Every once a while when the lotto is up to mega mega bucks I will buy a ticket. Then, my wife and I will talk about all the things we will do at dinner if we win. Of course after the drawing and we don't win we go back to the real world. But it's fun letting your mind wonder off into ever ever land every once and a while.
I would do whatever I could to help get LIRR # 39 up and running.
I would complete my particle-beam accelerator weapons system and complete my plans for global domination and subjugation of the human race.
Matt, we have similar goals. With the lottery winnings I would complete development of my Puh36 Explosive Space Modulator and destroy planet Earth. I'd be willing to grant you a position as my #1.
I'd also be taking applications to spare 10 people. Submissions will begin upon my receipt of the winnings. mmmphh ha ha ha. Muuuhahahahaha!
Wow Brian, I thought Matt was building a "Time Machine".

Careful, I've heard there's been some quality control issues with those...
Rusty
No, I'm building the time machine. Not sure who's working on the hyper-drive tho.
Jerry

Larry, similar results, different methods!
Build a replica of a J-3 Super Hudson.
I'd buy a Congressman or woman. Then I could have whatever I wish.

Thanks Bill!
With a push-button automatic transmission?
What, me worry?
I'd buy me a new pair of socks...
Rusty
You could pay a bit extra for the ones that don't get lost in the laundry.

Particle beam weapons, time machines, hyper-drives, Puh36 Explosive Space Modulators and you want socks that don't disappear in the laundry, who's being unrealistic now?
Jerry
First & foremost, I would buy annuities for my grandchildren to make college educations affordable for them.
Hey! I had a Reliant...
0-60 in a year-and-a-half with an air conditioner that could create snow on a humid day.
Rusty
I would build the backyard railroad I've wanted for some time such as the Sayre Brothers have at the www.arizonaandpacificrr.com
Since I've grown up with and worked on CP Huntington Replicas, I'd order a new one from the factory (1 loco is approx. $200K). www.chancerides.com
