I stumbled & purchased these cars at the last fall Allentown, PA Show. I was able to purchase the set of 2 PAx cars #2400 ॢ, Dome car #2403, and Boat Tail Obs #2401.
I am really impressed with this repro set from Williams since it really copies the Postwar essence of the Lionel cars yet expertly decorated in my favorite roadname.

Both cars sport the following:
- die cast metal trucks and couplers
- hidden uncoupling tab
- metal interior shell with two bulbs and silhouette windows
- MEtal screw monitors that hold the roof to the car and give easy access to the bulbs.
The difference between the two mfgs are as follows:
- darker brown and gold colors on the Williams version
- a deeper red in the PRR keystone logo for the Williams version
- silver metal monitor screws on the Williams version
- black coated metal couplers on the Williams version
WBB Version sports:
- Blackened screw monoitor vents
- Semi gloss painted couplers
- a slightly Brighter red in Keystone logo
- a slightly Brighter Gold striping and lettering
- Narrower reflective tape strip over bulbs inside the car
Both go great with the 027 Postwar and MPC type PRR turbines as well as the Williams Reproduction turbines.
I wish WBB would invest in repros of the shells for the late 1980's 2400 series cars shaped like the baggage, Combo, and Diner cars. now those add on sets would be a REAL hit!
