I came across this incredible drone video of NKP 765 yesterday, and I must've watched it at least 15 times already. I wanted to share this video to a larger audience, so enjoy!

Very cool!
Thank you.

Where did you find this video? It seems like the original should be longer, as this piece seems fairly short and the music seems to cut off.
I wish it was longer..what's there is downright beeeeeutiful!
Shots are very well done, music matches wonderfully. Can't say the same for a lot of drone videos.
I have come to think that this lovely locomotive sets the standard for restored steam engines.
Beautiful, capable, can run almost anywhere, nearly the perfect excursion locomotive.

Wow, who ever is piloting that drone is really good! Unreal shots!

Found it on Vimeo by Kelly Lynch.
Very nice. I also wish it was longer.
Yep, this was just cut as a "mood reel" for another project, so not really meant to be a stand-alone or entire piece, but is but a sampling of the footage we've filmed with the engine over the years. Glad you dig. Anything set to Thomas Newman's Horse Whisperer score (or any of his music, really) is automatically elevated.

I haven't been able to locate this particular piece of music in the Horse Whisperer score. Are you sure that's the source? I may have missed it.

Yes, a Lima Berk is awesome. However, what really "sets the standard" is the volunteers of the FWRHS. No big corporate money, just lots of hard work and donations. Absolutely amazing.

Found the song. Looks like Kelly only used the beginning and end parts.
Might use this one for some of my future projects...
Newman is fantastic -- as are his scores for Road to Perdition, Shawshank Redemption and others. If I ever get the budget someday, I'll beg him to score something of my own.

Yessir...the FWRHS is made up of a GREAT group of people. I know a few of em...
Kelly, that is some of the best drone footage of ANYTHING I've ever seen! It's as steady as a jib arm or a crane. Very nice work...as usual.
