The flag on my new MTH 20-3558 Auxiliary Water Tender is flat heavy card stock instead of a decal. (for 3D effect?)

On the prototype, it's a separate piece of sheet metal. Surprised MTH didn't use brass.

Will, thank you very much for the correction. After inspection it could very well be thick sheet metal painted on both sides with white edges. It will be interesting to see what happens when it runs through the Lionel Lionel 6-12767 1995 car wash rollers.

Scraping the back side of the flag with an Exacto knife confirmed it is metal.
