wonderful to see those guys still operating and operating under wire. I visited the place in 1970 and from the photos, it doesn't look much different from then. (Except for the snow, of course, i was out there during the summer months. ) Hope they keep it up forever.

Looks a lot like it looked in March 2013 when we went there after the March Meet. Lots of snow. Unfortunately I didn't get to see any action but we did get to stay at the HPI in Mason City which was well worth the trip.

Very cool. Wikipedia says the owners plan to keep it electric but maybe add some diesel. Not sure when that was posted, 'though.
