I get them also using Safari.

Unrelated but similar to iPhone aggravation:

I switched to Google Chrome after the horrid problems with safari (reloading, crashing, etc, etc) and cannot upload videos with Chrome on OGR. So I use Chrome that saves your place from the dreaded "reload disorder" (lack of RAM on iPhone 6) for everything else and jump over to Safari after its finished reloading itself (every time) and forcing me in Apple fashion to the totally sans any functionality mobile theme to the "desktop version" then load my videos.

I pleaded with the Apple idiots to fix this and I get the usual "it's my fault" speech, "hard reset", "update", etc etc etc but it's never Apple's fault.

I've heard life with Android has its own whole set of issues from Bloatware to frequent crashing on the new GS6. Lessor of 2 evils? iPhone at least doesn't force me to deal with 2-3 gigs of crap I don't want. Music wise Android's music player is a joke. So I guess it's 6 or half a dozen whatever that was they used to say.

Ok enough I'm off my soapbox.

Erik, I'm going to respond to your post, but not sure it will help because you really sound ticked off. I'm sorry about that and would like to say a word or two in Apple's defense. Between my wife and children (adult), we have 4 iPhones, 4 iPads and 5 Macs. As nothing is perfect in this life, I've had problems with them, but nothing insurmountable. Every time I had a problem I couldn't fix myself, I would make an appointment with an Apple Genius Bar, which is 65 miles away. I've never walked out of the store without a fix, thus, calling them "idiots" is truly unfair. Apple builds a quality product, but like anything else, it's not perfect once "we" customers get ahold of it. If you haven't tried the "reset", I think you should. If you can go to an Apple Store, I think you should. If that doesn't work, call them and have them step you thru the fix. Not long ago, I purchased a new Mac laptop from a vendor other than Apple. It did not work correctly, so I took it to the Apple Store Genius Bar (reservation recommended online). After a few minutes of testing, they replaced it with a new laptop. Apple stands behind their products...that I can assure you. Now...if you happened to get ahold of a frustrated employee when you called, that's his fault. Please try again. I ran a Mac lab in a school for 25 years and during the late 2000s, we added 50 iPads, so I'm rather seasoned with Apple Inc.

Marty,

I've never seen a problem like you have. Makes me think something under Settings/Safari is askew. If you don't get a fix, can you take it to an Apple store?

Hope I haven't offended anyone and wound up being called an "idiot".

Good luck,

George (G3)

George,

I apologize that was not meant for you or anyone. Pulling my hair out more or less....

Agree "idiot" is a bit harsh. If you have been through what I have since September 2014 with my iPhone 6 Plus you might understand. However use of vulgarity is inappropriate and not acceptable in any form despite the nature of the subject.

I have been an apple user since my elementary years in grade school and still have my beloved G3 bondi-blue tower along with a G5, and 3 MacBooks.

This is my 8th iPhone since 2007. Apple has gradually given up what you used to call "quality" for quick profit. Count the number of hits by the drill in your iPhone 6 casing versus the 5 just for example. And yet Jony Ivy has managed with a huge degree of success to still offer this device as a premium like my Rolex collection.

I am on my 2nd iPhone 6 Plus since September. The first was a first rate lemon. Aa gig of ram is not enough and still apple does manage to their credibility mix this lack of ram and OS to conserve battery I get that and understand that. This device has its limits and I am one of the users apple does not like. My iPhone 6 plus is my lions share access to online content. Apple does not like this; a possible sale of a new $2000 MacBook was a possibility here. I manage to sneak around and use my Plus for everything online. And there in lies my loss. I expect too much from this device. It is not a replacement for a real computer. As the various iOS updates arrive I continue to hope for improvement to find I lost yet another convenience and or ability I once had since iOS 7 came out in 2010. I do miss my iPhone 4 despite the fact it was far less of device than my plus. I only wish I had this level of incredible achievement in the current market the iPhone 4 had in 2010.

My experience with the Apple Store and my Plus since release day in 2014 has been miserable. It has persuaded me to not buy the Watch. I don't have an hour to list out the issues including the red blinking screen of death. I have had or tried to resolve with apple with little or no avail. Finally a spec of dust ended up on the inside of the rear facing lens and wow they took care of me! New Plus was handed over no questions asked. The apple Genius was very nice; he ran a  diagnostic for the first time since I bought and after 6 Apple Store appointments to find out my ram was corrupted. Something Like 34% of the gig of ram was usable. In effect the iOS was working overtime to compensate for the already low specs now even more. I'm sure you can imagine writing an email 3 paragraphs in and the app reloading no warning and loosing everything. Complete inability to jump back and forth to 2 different apps for example to do something as simple as copying a link only to have both apps reload and loose all your work. Oh I demonstrated this to apple and they insisted for 9 months it was my fault. As I said before "hard restart, update, etc, etc...." Well I did. While they waited; still it was my fault. Walked out 5-6 times with the same issues. A little bit more angered each time.

No, apple did not take care of me. They wanted to sell me a care-plan and if I bought it they would have replaced my device I was told.

iPhone 6S Plus will without doubt incorporate more ram. If not I'm going to give in and buy Android. Likely Google Nexus; I love iPhone it is the slickest and most fabulous of smart devices on the market in my opinion, but it must work.

Thankfully a spec of dust landed on my lens. I got this 2nd device which is far better; but still plagued with a severe lack of ram; that the cleverly designed iOS compensates for some of the time.

Well, Erik, I gotta admit you've surely had your "Apple" problems. I've never encountered what you've been up against. I've always purchased Apple Care with my personal Apple products, so that might have been the difference. I also have an iPhone 6+, but I don't try to have it replace a laptop or desktop. I use mine mainly for a GPS in the car and to make calls when away from home. And lastly as a camera and weather reporter. That's about it. I use Safari rarely.

I can't diss Jony Ive as I don't really know him other than the fact I think he is a great designer. Sorry, I don't count drill holes. Sigh...maybe I should.

All the best to you in your Apple endeavors,

George (G3)

George, glad you are not offended. Not my intention; although an obvious risk flinging those kind of words around.

Apple Care Plan or not this device is under 1 year and still well within the 1 year supposed "no questions asked" factory warranty. And many of my issues started right out of the box well within the 90 day full complimentary return if you don't like it warranty. I should I have not trusted my long flawless experience with apple products; it would have saved a lot of heartburn.

I had a lemon simple as that. Apple doesn't make lemons don't we all know.
