Bill I love the  sound,  especially at startup. I try to catch that in my videos; but  sometimes it makes the video too long and I get the dreaded red screen. I know I should use the YouTube option.

Bob- I made the jump to YT last year. Easy to set up an account. Uploading videos is easy, about 4 steps to go through. I've found that about 1 minute is my limit for file size. An option is to reduce the resolution on the camera which will increase the time recorded before you hit the 100MB limit.

If you use YT, copy the link for the video and paste it into the Forum with the filmstrip icon on the tool bar at the top of the post.

@coach joe,

Joe,

Photo shows my two 1950s Lionel 1615 0-4-0 steamers. They reside at the front of the lower level of my 12’-by-8’ layout in a yard used only for storage that I rarely photograph. They have a prominent position beneath the truss bridge. The one I bought at the Westchester show is at left.

Mel, is that a Metro-North FL9?  I've got a K-line F unit wearing the same paint for LIRR, #624 so I believe 412 would be Metro-North.

Joe,

I have Metro-North #412 and LIRR #624 in that paint scheme. They are models of F3/F7 units made by K-Line - not FL9s. Metro-North #413 had that same paint scheme and used to visit Bridgeport, CT. It is listed as an EMD F-10 and I believe it is now at the Danbury Railway Museum. As far as I know, the only O gauge FL9s were made by Sunset/3rd Rail.

My 624 has TMCC, that's why I bought it was my first, and for a very long time my only, LIRR engine.  Later on a pair of Beeps followed.  All new, at discounted prices intended to be repainted into some other road but the LIRR has grown on me of late so the F Unit will pull the Scoot and one of the Beeps will pull the ballast train.  I asked about the FL9 because I thought you owned one but maybe yours is a New Haven FL9.
