IT's TEAM TRACK TUESDAY!!!  Share your team track photos here!   Team tracks are a vital part of day to day real railroad operations.  Team tracks are found in remote rural areas, small town, and large cities.  Practically every kind of freight car can be on/off loaded on a team track.  Some head end passenger equipment and MOW equipment can also use the team track for off/on loading and/or storage.

This week on team track 2 in lower Patsburg a 60 ft REA reffer load of produce is being off loaded one crate at a time.  The unloading crew will be kept busy for quite a while.    Otto the truck driver whittles away his time standing beside his rig.   A  N&W J class locomotive in charge of the Powhattan Arrow passes by on the main.

Feel free to post photos of your railroad's team track here.  If you miss posting Tuesday, no worries, go ahead and post any day of the week.  Have a fun and creative week!!  IMG_4520IMG_4523IMG_4525IMG_4527IMG_4520IMG_4518IMG_4497 I"ll see ya next week on the TEAM TRACK!!!

Lee, that is an outstanding picture!

Thanks, Mark!

It's one of the few times I took a shot specifically for a thread on this forum. I don't really 'use' the two ramps I have and one is directly behind a sheet of plexiglass (where the spur is within an inch of the edge of the layout, something I did for a structure I later decided not to use after all), so this is the only one, "out in the open".

Happy Team Track Tuesday!

Patrick, Mark, Brian (with an honorable mention to Clem), and Lee- great pix from everyone.

Patrick and Mark- I'm barely able to keep up with different trains to put on my TT's each week- you guys have both cornered the market of scenic accessories for your posts. Amazing!

Some local action but in the 1:1 world this week. I like to find shots of local activity, which is tough sometimes when the railroad in your area is primarily a commuter line. The LIRR has a long history of moving freight though.
I found a couple of shots of everyone's favorite transformer car in a few different locations on the Island.

Enjoy the rest of the week.

Bob

Mark Diff  posted : That's a nice produce truck Patrick. That produce must have been grown way south of the border.

Thanks Mark!  Your point of origin was close ... Actually the produce came all the way from southern CA. ...  All in all a 48 hour trip:  first over the Santa Fe ( east express perishable train )  to Chicago where it was handed off to the B&O ( east express perishable ).   Then the B&O to Patsburg, Maryland where the reffer was cut out and immediately coupled to a B&O SW 9 switcher which set it out on  team track 2.

I purchased the produce truck last fall at York.  Bought from Santana Miniatures.   Got to keep the veggies and fruit cool

Great team track photos guys!!

Mark - really great looking scene with lots of energy!  Did you make the Sakrete Mortar Mix etc. bags?

Lee - in a word " AWESOME"!!  It's an honor that you took that wonderful photo for this thread!!  Please show us more

Brain - Lots of team track action in your photos!  Love the early 20th century team track photo of the well car with what looks to be a generator.

RSJB18 - Thanks for the compliment!  Love those Schnable cars! It certainly will take an entire team to unload those babies!

Tim - nice galloping goose!

Arnold - wonderful photos of your team track!  Ice, milk, and lumber are staples of the team track.  I really like your fork lift scene!!  Don't who that cool dude is sitting on the milk platform.  It must be Rich Melvin!

Thanks everyone for stopping by the team track to take a gander of the goings on.  Thanks also to all those who posted.  See ya next Tuesday on the TEAM TRACK!  Have a wonderfully creative week!!

Thanks Patrick, yes i made these, using some scrap wood I had laying around. Unfortunately, the bags are a wee bit too big. But I think they look pretty good anyway.

Good job Mark! They look great!  They are the large quantity bags which are only sold to contractors
