All of these got their first clear coat today. Now it is time assemble end platforms and install windows. Trucks and couplers are standing by as well.

Outstanding work as usual!
Top shelf cabeese as always.
I've never seen the DWR logo; I'm a sucker for tiller wheels. The cabin seems very long (but I like it for that reason); Color?; Just seems that way in ho or photo?
Is the "DWR" associated with the Virginian?

That is the logo of the Gulf & Ship Island RR which became part of the Illinois Central. That caboose was a long caboose and this one is HO scale.
Thanks
Thank you Bother. Something to read up on a little sometime. I figured it was ho. Do you know the length offhand though?
Are you really giving up after this round? (I think I recall that?) I love seeing these little batches of perfection. I always seem to see something new or different on them.
Brother,
Your work is second to none. Our community will be at a loss when you stop.

What a production!

I am. After this batch I have one more batch of 38 and I HOPE I can retire then. I’m ready to build a couple for me and work on my layout. Plus many of these are from faithful clients and I felt obligated to fill their orders.

Beautiful work, as always. I'd be interested to know who commissioned the Virginia Blue Ridge Railway #2. I'm working on the restoration/reconstruction of the real thing: (donations gratefully accepted ). Feel free to email me if interested in more info on this project.

They look great Malcolm!
Now l drooled! Two side doors, and one of them the FEC side door that was sold to several roads including the Great Western! The GW ran two and l shoulda sprung for two when you were cranking out O scale cabeese, those and Colorado Midland sidedoors. You snooze, you lose. I snoozed. I do like cabeese. Well, most...if interestingly different, and many were.
Malcolm,
Fantastic work as always!
Just tremendous! That's a very intriguing group of designs you've modeled. Gonna miss your posts about your builds once you retire. However, I do believe posts about your layout will be just as drool worthy.
