I've just seen the new Heineken TV advert. It's connected to the new James Bond film 'Skyfall' and is set on a rather exotically appointed streamlined steam train. Quite fun to watch. Just go to www.heineken.com and click to play the 'Crack the case' game. The TV advert is the first section.

The commercial is nice but you didn't mention having to give info to get past the first stage, dob.

That's only to 'prove' that you are of a legal drinking age. There's nothing to stop you from not telling the truth though.

What is that locomotive? Does it actually appear in the film, or was it only created for the commercial?
The towering stone bridge reminds me of Starrucca Viaduct built by the Erie in Lanesboro, PA, or similar bridges in Switzerland.
The Bernina Pass line descends into Tirano, Italy, on a spiral/helix stone bridge. A modeler would be ridiculed for a bridge like that but it is prototypical and it works.
Cool, but I wish I could get a better/longer look at the locomotive.
Is the train shaken, not stirred?

Please don't shake or stir the Heinekens...

POW/MIA YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN
Excuse me, but are you implying that there is such a thing as a bad Bond movie?
The non-canon ones weren't as good. Octopussy left a lot to be desired even though it did have Sean Connery and the "Casino Royale" with Larry Niven wasn't so good either.
Yes, there were some not-as-good-as-the-best Bond films, but even the worst Bond film, or the worst Bond actor, was still worth watching. I've liked every one and loved many of them." From Russia with Love is among my favorite movies, period, both because it is true to the book, it has the best Bond actor of all, and it has the Orient Express . . .
Good fun, anyone else manage to open the case?
James
Yes, that was different!
When it got to the point of asking to upload a photo I saw it could look around inside my computer so I bailed out. Hopefully it wasn't too late.
I uploaded a picture of the new Lionel remote Thomas. Their website actually displayed it on Smershes' control panel, or whatever it was --- fun!
