We were commissioned to recreate the Jersey Central Switching Shanty.
A member of this forum is restoring the real one at the time we are working on the model.
The main structure is done and few improvement made. next step the final layer , windows, door and paint.
The final model will be showed at York (WW-4)

WOW, that track sure looks bad!
What would be inside the shanty? A coal burning stove to keep the switchmen warm? Are those yard speakers on the silver poles?
Is this an item you'll be selling as a kit?
Count me in for purchasing one of these, Andre! Being a huge CNJ fan--with a particular interest in the Ashley, PA yard and Huber Breaker area where this shanty was located--I'm very glad you moved forward with this project!
I've been meaning to search my CNJ collection of books, photos, etc. to see if I can find any additional images of the real shanty for Don (Rail). If I find anything I will let you know.
