Hello,
I just received in the mail a new old stock Pioneer Zephyr (6-51008). It works perfectly, but only if I have the top panel covering the switches removed. When that panel is in place, it jitters and moves a few inches and then stops receiving commands. I'm not sure why the panel makes the difference, but it appears to be disrupting the signal. Any advice?
Also, this is my first brand new train. I'm assuming it could do with grease on the gears and some oil. Any recommendations as to what I should use?
