Guys I am just trying out a series of kd coupler test on my rolling stock before I go all in. I am truck mounting all my kds. I have 036 fastrack and wanted to see if truck mounting the kds would actually work. I am using the 740's and to my suprize they are working 100% flawless even the delayed uncoupling feature works. Mounting them to various brands of trucks is a small challenge to say the least. I have most brands figured out. Now that cars to cars work ok. What about car to engine. when I tryed to mate a 740 on a car I had done too various engine brands electrol couplers I found the 740's work with some electrol couplers just fine and others not so much. Yes a transition car or two I will make, but is there a specific # kd coupler that works best when coupled to the electrol coupler lobster claw on engines perhaps? I will by a pair and test them out. I am planning also to do a test mounting the kd's directly to the swinging pilot of one of my deseil engines and see if the kd's will work on tight radius with rolling stock as well as my cars do coupled to each other. This is the next experiment to get to. Any suggestions on a suttable kd is welcome. Thanks
