Possibly this might work .....
A few adjustments and learning the turntable worked out well!
Will a track into the roundhouse be built for wintering the engine?
I just read, on another forum, that the guys were able to complete the stall track yesterday afternoon and the engine is now inside the roundhouse!
Thank you, John. This is marvelous news. Now, I would be happy as a poodle in a butcher shop if C&S 2-8-0's #60 and #71 were returned to Como !!
Oh, heck.........2-6-0 #9, too !!
Looks like an Armstrong turntable ! Thanks for the video.
Here's one I took yesterday. This is one of the most unbelievable events that I've participated in! Come on Saturday, 9/2, to see it again! 1-4 pm.
Nice looking lil' Prairie! Shell look even better once they fix that steam dome lid leak and put the dome casing back on.

Agreed, a very nice looking locomotive. However, I think sometime along the line they're going to wish Kate had a front coupler...
Rusty
On another forum it has been stated that a front coupler will be added next year.
What are their plans going forward? We sold our place in Fairplay last November and I never noticed any of this happening.
We plan to lay a lot more track. The long term goal is to extend track to the King coal branch wye which is east of the roundhouse. The track would extend north past the hotel then curve right across a swale. We need to rebuild a small bridge across the stream and also put a culvert in a washout of the grade.
That is really cool. I bet you could do some business in the fall when the aspen are changing. If Aurora puts that new lake in over by Hartsel things should get a little busier still.
