Layout Control System App Updates?

Perhaps merge it into the Cab3 app or the other way around instead of having the apps compete for the developers attention this way the updates come more often...

Not really a good idea, the LCS app concentrates on layout operation, switches, accessories, etc, the CAB3 is all about running trains.  They are very different applications.

BINGO!  I've been wanting them to fix the bug with the DZ-2500 switch routes for years, I've pretty much given up.  LCS started with such a fanfare, then it seems it was forgotten.  You have exactly identified my reservation with the whole idea of using 3rd party smart devices for our remotes!

I emailed talktous@lionel.com about this and got this reply:

Lionel is currently working with the software developer with this app. According to the engineer department there will not be an update till after the beginning of 2025.

I encourage others to contact Lionel so they hear the message that updates to the LCS app are desired.
