I've thought about using the garage but figured the layout would get too dusty and it would be warm. Not to mention wasps like to build their nests on anything they can. I often have to knock them down. My wife keeps asking me when I'm going to build the layout. Lately I've been telling her not until I get the dream space it needs. Unfortunately, no basements here in TX.

If it wasn't for toxic chemicals and was sure the trains could handle it, I would try it. Not sure that I want to inhale that stuff, though.

I did't want to get rif of you just the wasp with the fluid lol Well I am sure if you are there much longer you will find some way to get a layout together. I have friends that are only operators and they may use balast but very little else and it looks ok for theor purpose.

I'll figure something out. For now, I have a test track on carpet that I run things on after I receive them upon purchase. It's great just for that purpose.
