Layout Update...pictures!

Hi Alan,

 

Boy this was such a treat to wake up to this morning, really beautiful photos. The lighting coming into the layout room is fabulous, the water scene's are incredible.

All the different scene's around the layout are simply awesome.

What's the make and model of the silver passenger cars not the amtrak???.   I think you have one of the best train inventory selections.   It's very easy to buy alot of junk in this game.

No reason to resort to any bugging.  I'll be happy to run an article just as soon as Alan provides the necessary materials.  He knows where to get hold of me.

Wow - the 1:48 scale camera is very flattering - seems to have taken about 20 lbs off!

 

And just think...a little dab of paint and I'd have had hair again.

 

Well, there's always Photoshop, I guess.

 

But, I really don't remember any trip to Arkansas....could there be a long-lost twin????

Ben....you are correct!!  That is a picture of Jim!  Our planning department had him come in as a consultant.  We entertained him with "drink" and he really enjoyed himself...almost too much.  As you can see, he doesn't remember ever making the trip!! LOL!!

Thanks guys on the suggestion/request for pub in the magazine and video.  That of course will be up to Allan and in fact he and I have been talking for a couple of years about a spread in the magazine.  It is my fault that it has not happened yet since I have been still working on the layout.  As I begin to get some scenery completed, the time is near now and I will be submitted what Allan has been waiting for....
