I have a LionChief+ Hogwarts Express with what I assume is a bad drawbar. The sound cuts in and out, but will come back if I hold the drawbar in a certain position. Is there anyone out there who repairs these things, or is this something I would have to send back to Lionel? Thank you in advance for your help.

Well, the two parts are available from Lionel, so you can probably call them and get replacements. For some reason, they made it a PITA to get these particular parts, you have to call, can't order them on-line.
FWIW, I don't think that's an LC+ locomotive, it only came in plain LC.

I know the one part is 6801611087. What is the other part I would need?
Look at the tender breakdown, it has the mating drawbar. You may only need one, but given the price of shipping, I'd just get both so you know you have a fix in hand. My sense is the tender contacts are easier to bend and screw up.

Thanks very much. From the looks of it, I'll need to solder the part for the tender, but it's just a plug for the engine?
From that picture it looks like bare wires. Hard to say what you actually get, sometimes it doesn't match the pictures. 
I'm pretty sure the picture of the engine drawbar is correct.
