Had to do a chassis swap on a legacy K4 due to the gear problem. (1922031 Warren G Harding version.) Got a new chassis from Gunrunner John (thanks John!) Got everything swapped out and copied Pats repair for the side to side gear slop. Put it together, and it ran great! Then I noticed the stack was pushed up a little bit. Shut it down, pulled the stack out, checked the alignment, everything looked good, so I pushed it back in, restarted it, got an instant dead short! (Blew the breaker on my Z1000.) I’ve unplugged connectors trying to isolate it to no avail. Don’t see any evidence of pinched wires. The only way it doesn’t blow the breaker is to disconnect the grey, black, yellow, blue wire connector from the board. I assume that this is the primary power for the board from the pickup rollers. I’m thinking I somehow blew a board. Don’t know what they call the large board in the firebox so I can look it up. Hope it’s available. Any help appreciated! Thanks!
