Using legacy, I created a "train" with the lead being a Legacy Big Boy and the trailing loco a Legacy CC2 (articulated switcher).
I was prompted to OK the switcher to run at the higher speed of the road engine and gave it the ok.
When uncoupled, the Big Boy slowly and gradually puts more and more distance between it and the CC2.
So, the Big Boy is running slightly faster with both locos in the same "train" and running as the "train", not as individual locos.
Is this typical for legacy locos to have slightly different speeds?
Will I harm the motors or electronics if I couple them together in the "train"?
