A flash from "People" magazine:  Jeff Gordon gets his own car serviced just like you and me!

Wow!  This is good on so many counts! It is very well detailed and a realistic scene with just enough grit, etc., to be real and a tiny everyday slice of life done so well.  The water looks fantastic.  You did a spectacular job on that.

What great city doesn't have drive-ins?  The ones around my area all had playground and eatery areas.

Believe it or not, I just watched an episode of Petticoat Junction for the first time in fifty years.

I think it was a re-run.

Vandals who thought they were being smart lost their footing, spilling their paint bucket, and coming perilously close to being splattered on the tracks below.

This  is a temporary scene I created while finishing up some track ballasting.

The first one is "fruit of the vines and work of human hands."  Toiling in the vineyards as the Napa Valley Wine Train passes by.  They are Cabernet grapes.

The second is "having a few horns."  Some of the "regulars" milling around during "happy hour" at McCuaig's Maui Lounge on a Friday night.  The one and only bar in the town of Beawslaiw.

Autumn is in the air and Halloween is just around the corner.  There is a small pumpkin patch along the SP mainline in the town of Beawslaiw.  People are pumpkin hunting!  Matt
