I've had the luxury of my grandfather, Mario Sr., that worked for the Central and retired in 1965, and gave me a distinguished list before he died:

- Original 1940 blueprints for the Utica, NY yard and Union Station tracks, from Nail Creek through Utica to the West Shore crossover in Schuyler, NY.

- Several NYCS and NYC&HR lanterns with clear and colored glass.

- Switch lock and key

- Mercury & 20th Century place settings

- Wide brimmed hardhat

- Countless numbers of paperwork, timetables and switchlists

By far, the most valuable piece is the blueprints. Their almost 20' long and has evey detail of what "used to be"... 26 yeard tracks, 4 mainlines, automobile unloading facilities, freight house, locomotive facility and 3 turntables / roundhouses!
Joe,

That's a mighty impressive collection.

I was lucky enough to make the acquaintence with a gentleman with the most unbelievable collection of cast iron railroadaina. He is a huge DT&I fan and even has a real DT&I caboose. He has everything cast iron the DT&I ever had.....very cool.

Here's my meager items.

My garden shed

Here's my Western RR signal bell

I hope one day to build a replica station or interlocking tower and fill it with some railroadiana.

Hi there, you have quite the collection! Joe, or anyone else.... do you ever come across any Canadian stuff?? I have a big collection of Canadian related railroadiana, which include a Northern Alberta Railway speeder, lantern, locks and switch stand, CPR and CNR semaphores, some CNR and CPR number boards, and my growing collection of diesel builders plates from BC Rail, CN Rail, and CP Rail. If anyone comes across any other builders plates from Canadian roads, please let me know! I have some US roads I'd consider trading..... Thanks gentlemen..... Corey
