It looks like that post did it. I got the tool back!
Here's what I did while I was waiting .

Very nice Christmas card! Great Job!!!!!
Merry Christmas! Very nice photos and videos everyone!
The tree has been up since end of November. Work has been crazy busy. Finally got around to taking and posting these of our tree and trains.
Mr. Smith made me think about antiquing a photo, so I did!
A continuous double loop with side Trolley's. My grandson Jacob is all smiles. Santa's village on the right, city main street center, country setting on left. Merry Christmas!
ps: For those interested, the FasTrack plan layout is attached also.
The fire station that I work at has the old silver metal tree that looks like it was made out of welding rods. The station was built in 58 and a safe bet that the tree is close to that. I thought it could use a engine from the same time era. So I set up a loop of Fastrack and ran the Lionel 2026 and my sons 1st Lionel GP38. I won't be home for Sunday but will have a engine to run. Have a safe holidays. Nick T.
my grade school was using trees like that in the class rooms in the late '60s early '70s.

T8AFAO,
My Grandmother had a tree like that too dating back to at least 1960. Thank you for bringing back a Christmas memory for me and Dave!!

Seems a happy little fella, saying just about enough, probably. I'm sure Charlie Brown would be proud. Nice. You brought back quite a few memories with that thoughtful posting, Nick T. Thanks!

"Get the biggest aluminum tree you can find Charlie Brown! Maybe painted pink!"

I work in a posting system, so no home base for me on Christmas. I'm sure I could fit an oval of track in the back of my ambulance, but I'd have to leave the gurney behind. I don't think my boss would understand.

I put the train under the tree, but I can't run it without the little dog barking at it, then nudging the engine off the track when it comes around.
That looks yummy!
