Lionel 214 mounted between 110/111 trestles

What is the "postwar" way of mounting the 214 between two A bents? FYI, the raised track is O-27 tubular, the ground level track is O tubular.

P.S. - Don't know about the rotated pictures - they look fine on my computer...
