I recently changed my layout and the barrel loader / unloader and the barrel car are favorites. I need to run through a few Ross switches to get from the yard to the industry spur and the 3556 actuates pretty much each time it passes through a switch. Are there any ideas on avoiding this that I may have missed before I undertake a Nobel prize winning research project? I expected this was covered in the past but several searches did not identify anything specific. Thanks in advance for suggestions.

As a Digital Subscriber, you have access to OGR videos.
Jim Barrett will show you exactly how to solve this problem.
I've used Jim's technique and it works great!

Hi Rich. I recently signed up for digital to go along with my print edition and for some reason it keeps telling me I don’t have access when I click on the link. Am I doing something wrong? BTW, I love the ability to go back and read old editions, even the first one from 1969!
As the good book says, "Seek and you shall find." Jim B. and Rich to the rescue. BINGO!

Thanks Rich! It worked. Great video and what an easy solution.
"The Orange Subway Line in Boston had to pull all of there new CRRC (Built by China) Cars because they kept derailing on curves and other things were happening with them."
I couldn't resist, they must not have read the minimum required curve on the box before they bought them.......
