Lionel 6-18040 J Class Have TMCC?

I have thought of buying the Lionel 6-18040 from around 1995 before, but I have always had the question of whether it has tmcc. Being from 1995 the box only say a Lion Tech reverse unit and not tmcc. So my question is does this engine have TMCC?

No, just sound and the normal conventional features. Transformer controlled forward, neutral, reverse, Magnetraction, Smoke, Whistle, etc...
