I just bought this nice J Class locomotive but without the owners manual. Thought it would be easy to find on the internet but I couldn’t find it.
does anyone know where to get an e copy?
I went to Lionel support but just found the later version from 2005 and this unit is from 1995 with more traditional parts but with railsounds 2 I believe.

I put in 6-18040 manual and just got the later version.

For best results, I've found that leaving the 6- off works better at times.

my problem was asking for something specific like manual or owners manual or operating manual.
with just the “6-18040” it worked. A strange search engine. But now I know. KISS
